Hebbe
Biography

Hebbe is a Dutch Dubstep producer from Rotterdam. Inspired by Moby, Dire Straits and Pink Floyd he started making music in 2012 which was mainly a guitar and later processing that in FL Studio. Slowly exploring the digital realms of heavy bass music, he suddenly came across the ‘THIS iS DUBSTEP 2012’ Album In 2013 with tunes like Sleeper & District’s Dungeon Style, Bahl Fwd of Skream and most of the album’s tunes grabbing his attention. After a year of getting comfortable in Fl Studio making lounge music the bass lines and sub slowly creped in. When attending the Give It Dub party in 2014 in Nijmegen featuring Icicle and Goth-Trad he felt at home and knew this music was going to be a big part of his life.

In the summer of 2014 he started with his alias Hebbe with the goal of creating his own arsenal of tunes all across the board of the genre. Renting his own studio in Rotterdam and moving away from friends and family to start a whole new chapter in his life based around music. With a lot of support and good vibes from the community all over the world he feels the journey has just started and is hoping to meet many more interesting people along the way.

Focussing on exclusivity and playing vinyl he aims to create lively sets of his own works and those of his close friends. Hebbe is not trying to make a distinctive sound, but is rather focusing on different production techniques to create a lot of variation in his work. In his sounds the influences of Digital Mystikz, Dubamine, District, Requake, Kahn, Gantz and LAS can definitely be heard. The only thing that defines it is a deep sub, a loud snare, emotion and good vibes.
